Narrative

"Star Trek: Lower Decks" focuses on the support crew serving on the USS Cerritos, one of Starfleet’s least important ships in the year 2380. Mariner, Boehmler, Rutherford and Tandy must juggle their duties and their social lives while the ship is often on the move. The sci-fi thriller is filled with a host of oddities. The ship’s bridge crew includes Captain Carol Freeman, Commander Jack Ransom, Lieutenant Shax and Doctor T. Anna. It’s a spin-off of 1973-74’s "Star Trek: The Animated Series," but with a decidedly more adult tone and humor.
