Narrative

It tells the story of three very different families who struggle to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the show rated so low, but it made more sense after seeing that many of the reviews explain how they didn’t make it past the first episode.

I really like the cast and everyone’s performances

The show is a fun mystery that may not be for everyone. Personally, I found it very funny and entertaining with a special Liz Feldman tone that I like.

By the last episode I was pretty invested in the story, despite having solved the main situation early on

I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first because of my own biases (a life where I couldn’t separate him from Everyone Loves Raymond), but that passed very quickly. All of the different characters have their own side stories that form a tangled web of chaos that is gradually, though not completely, unraveled.

I’m not mad at that

I would love to see more of this show and I really hope they get a second season. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly – here’s the full range of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
